Offered: Four classic Philip José Farmer reprints
Offered: New unread author copies of four recent reprints of classic Farmer titles. These books are being donated by the estate of Philip José Farmer.
Strange Relations (Baen Books 2006) This 476 page omnibus includes not just Farmer's short story collection from 1960: "Mother," "Daughter," "Father," "Son," and "My Sister's Brother," but also the important early novels The Lovers and Flesh; much of the material that made Farmer an iconclast in his early career.
The Unreasoning Mask (Overlook Press 2007) From David Pringle's Science Fiction: The 100 Best Novels "Farmer at his most intriguing . . . The Unreasoning Mask is a metaphysical space opera on the grandest scale." This was one of Phil's personal favorites.
Dare (IDW Publishing 2009) A vintage Ballantine PBO from 1965, a story of "race" relations taken to another level.
Two Hawks from Earth (Monkey Brain Books 2009) Wonderfully imaginitive world building: what if the North American continent had never risen from the sea? What would Europe, and the rest of the world, look like in the 1940s? This edition also contains and Afterword by noted Farmer scholar Christopher Paul Carey.
