Offered: Book art by Erzebet Yellowboy.
Five authors graciously allowed Erzebet YellowBoy to use their poems in the creation of four pieces of book art especially for Magick4Terri. Erzebet uses bone and other natural media in her book assemblages, collecting bits from the wilds, from her own garden and from things found by her friends. Erzebet's art resides in private collections around the world and can be found in the working collection of the Minnesota Center for Book Arts. Hers are books you might find lying on the leaf-strewn ground in a dark wood. For Magick4Terri, the foxes set the theme.
This is The Tall House of Mr. Fox by Caitlyn Paxson. This poem was first published in Scheherezade's Bequest 13.
Distressed, coffee-stained pages have been bound to the rib bone of a fox with faux sinew. A rose that never bloomed, fading baby's breath and ivy lie beside the "pebble path". The frame has been stained mahogany, and the piece itself has been backed with lokta paper. 7.25 inches wide by 5.25 inches high. Ready to hang. Signed and dated on the back by the artist and will ship to anywhere in the world.
