I've just finished writing a middle grade fantasy novel about pirates and lost princes for my 9-year-old nephew. I've printed up some copies through Lulu.com (because giving a loose-leaf manuscript to a 9 year old is just cruel), and am auctioning not one, not two, but THREE of them off!
This book is the first of a four book series, and I have every intention of writing the entire series before sending it to my agent, so what I'm offering right now is a chance to get a copy of this book years before it's going to be widely available.
Furthermore, for the right price, I'll send the winning bidders the next books in the series as I write them. I make absolutely no guarantee as to when that will be.
So I have three (sets of) books here to auction off. I'm going to offer one as a Buy It Now, the second in $50 increments for each book, and the third at $100 increments for each book.
I'll post three comments on this auction entry, titled Auction 1: BUY NOW, Auction 2: $50+, and Auction 3: $100+. Auction 1 will close immediately upon someone making an offer. Auctions 2 & 3 can go as high as they like, and I'll do my best to throw in some little extras if they skyrocket. Sound good?
Winners do not have to bid for all 4 books if they don't want to--if Auction 3 only reaches $100, for example, that's cool, the winner will just get this book.
