Seller: Erzebet YellowBoy

Offered: Book art by Erzebet Yellowboy.

Five authors graciously allowed Erzebet YellowBoy to use their poems in the creation of four pieces of book art especially for Magick4Terri. Erzebet uses bone and other natural media in her book assemblages, collecting bits from the wilds, from her own garden and from things found by her friends. Erzebet's art resides in private collections around the world and can be found in the working collection of the Minnesota Center for Book Arts. Hers are books you might find lying on the leaf-strewn ground in a dark wood. For Magick4Terri, the foxes set the theme.

This piece is based on "The Maiden to the Fix Did Say" by Amal El-Mohtar and Nicole Kornher-Stace. The poem was first published in Lone Star Stories 32 in April, 2009 and is still available to read online.

Distressed, coffee-stained pages have been bound to the rib bone of a fox with faux sinew. Pressed leaves and dried flowers adorn the piece. The frame has been stained mahogany, and the piece itself has been backed with lokta paper. The size of the piece is 7.25 inches wide by 5.25 inches high. It is ready to hang and has been signed and dated on the back by the artist. Will ship to anywhere in the world.

I'm so sorry. LJ uses UTC, which adds hours, so 5 pm Pacific Time is 1 AM UTC. Unfortunately it's time stamped 1:01 AM and to be fair we can't count it because we're not counting anything after 5 PM our time. Again, very sorry, but we have to go by the time stamps in order to be fair to all bidders.

Best,
Mia

I know. I could just cry. I started trying at quarter to, and just got errors for the captcha no matter what I tried. Ravenedgewater, if you would consider selling this piece, I would dearly love to buy it for a friend of mine, but I understand if you won't.
